Revamp a lampshade with old paper
Give a second life to an old faded lampshade by reusing old paper!Material to collect
Pencil for tracing;
Scissors or compasses / knife;
Glass or other round object to create a 4 "to 4" diameter pattern;
Old lampshade (for the chronicle, lampshade made of rice paper in the shape of a ball);
Old papers (maps, wrapping paper, wallpapers, books, magazines and / or newspapers, etc.);
Double-sided tights (for a paper or metal shade) or hot glue (for a fabric shade).
Steps
1-Draw circles of 4 "to 4" diameter in the papers of your choice with a glass or other round object as a pattern (the rounds must all be the same size);
2-Cut the rounds using scissors or a compass / knife;
3-Glue the papers on the fish-shell shade and with an overlap distance of approximately ⅓ circles. You have to start at the bottom of the lampshade and completely cover the lampshade up to the top.
