Concrete candlesticks with recycled milk cartons

Concrete is very popular in design for its industrial look. From old milk containers, here's how to make candlesticks look raw.

Material to collect

Water;
Brush;
lanterns;
Concrete mix;
Masking tape;
Acrylic paint;
Knife with multiple blades;
Recycled milk cartons for the mold;
Bowl and spoon for concrete mix (2 parts concrete for 1 part water).

Steps to create concrete candle holders

1-Using a multi-blade knife, cut off the top of the milk cartons;

2-In a bowl and using a spoon, prepare the concrete mixture;

3-Pour the concrete mixture into the milk cartons;

4-To create the cavity, insert a lantern into the concrete mixture and place a weight on it to prevent the air from rising;

5-Leave to set for 36 hours then unmold by cutting the carton of milk and let dry another 24 hours before painting;

6-Create triangular shapes on the candle holders using masking tape;

7-Paint under the masking tape with a brush and acrylic paint;
